A chess game with a real-time 3D board drawn by a small software 3D pipeline, with no native 3D plugin. It has an engine with three levels and the full rules of chess.

What it does
- Orbit, zoom and top-down camera; in pass-and-play the board turns to the next player
- Modelled pieces: lathe-turned pawns, bishops, queens and kings, castellated rooks and a bevelled knight
- Three AI levels: Casual, Club and Master
- Castling, en passant, promotion, draws by repetition and the 50-move rule; undo, hints and a move list
How it’s built
- Software 3D with per-vertex lighting, depth sorting, Canvas.drawVertices and ray picking
- Alpha-beta search with quiescence and iterative deepening, run off the UI thread
- Move generator verified with perft counts
