Gauge
A private device-health companion: device info, live charging analytics and battery widgets.
Gauge combines three kinds of Android app in one: a full device-info tool, a live battery monitor and a set of battery widgets. It has no ads, no analytics and no internet permission.

- Android
- Version
- 0.7.0

- Flutter, Kotlin, Pigeon, WorkManager, Android widgets, Paparazzi
Try it
Gauge reads battery, sensor and hardware data straight from Android, which a browser can't reach. Install the Android app to try it.

What it does
- Live battery: watts, current, voltage, temperature, time to full and estimated health, with graphs
- Charge history with a power curve per charge, and a Charger Lab that ranks your chargers
- Hardware, system, network, camera, sensor and thermal details
- Hardware tests (display, touch, speakers, sensors, biometrics…), a floating monitor and a status-bar reading
- 16 configurable home-screen widgets and themes, including Studio
How it’s built
- Multi-module native Android layer in Kotlin, bridged to Flutter with type-safe Pigeon channels
- JVM unit tests for sysfs and /proc parsing, estimators and alerts
- Every widget snapshot-tested with Paparazzi at three sizes × two themes
