Isle
A dynamic island for any Android phone, wrapped around the camera cutout.
A black shape pinned to the camera cutout that grows to show music, timers, ringing alarms, calls, downloads, charging and messages, then shrinks back. It is native Kotlin with no AndroidX, and the APK is about 130 KB.

What it does
- Priorities (call, alarm, timer, music, progress) with a second activity that buds off as a small circle
- Tap or long-press to expand, swipe up to dismiss, swipe on music to change track
- Music card with an artwork-tinted waveform and controls; timer ring; charging bar
- Sliders to fit it to your camera; no internet permission at all
How it’s built
- One spring drives width, height and corner radius together, stepped per frame so it feels the same at 60 and 120 Hz
- Hysteresis and minimum on-screen times keep the island calm instead of flickering
- Drawing allocates nothing per frame; 59 unit tests
