A calm, offline reading app for the PDF and EPUB books on your phone and in public Telegram channels.
Mezgeb finds the books already on your phone, including the ones you download from Telegram, and puts them on a bookshelf with a reader, a reading calendar and daily goals. Follow public Telegram channels to browse every book they have posted. There is no server and no login.

Try it
Mezgeb reads the books stored on your phone and watches its folders, which a browser can't do. Install the Android app to try it.
What it does
- Watches a folder you choose (such as Telegram's downloads) and imports new PDF and EPUB files automatically
- Follow public Telegram channels by @name and search their whole history, with no Telegram login
- Bookshelf grouped by status, author, channel, format or your own coloured shelves
- Reading calendar with covers, star ratings, streaks and weekly stats
- EPUB reader with five themes and typography controls; remembers your exact position
How it’s built
- Uses the Android folder picker, so it needs no broad storage permission
- Private by design: books and reading data never leave the phone
- Release workflow builds signed per-ABI APKs and an AAB, verifies the signature and publishes a GitHub Release
